Background

GenQR is an extensions based on Genuid, a platform which be able to create unique Identification for supply chain management 

There is a platform which builded in 2017, However, Genuid is a mainly early product of ITBC. Suffering from restriction of funding, extension of teams, location was changed from Taiwan to Dublin. The company prepared to renew and reorganize recently after obtained resource from their sponsors

Design process

User research at early stage

Staff of printer, wine owners, product manager and administration staff of manufacturing, mangers of retail, staff of logistics and transportation

What we found ?

1. For manufacturing, they needed more function for hole process from materials to retail

2. For retail business, they need fast and easy usage for their sales or marketing projects


3. In the user testing of early Genuid platform, designer in manufacturing give us some advisements, and stimulated us to consider more user scenarios and gain unexpected potential users

There are already lots of Qrcode editor application and system, such as, Unitag, QR Code Tiger, Super Code, QR Code monkey, QR Code Generator

Our solutions

One pixel edit

Focus on editor, function can cover all design scenarios. For example , our platform can edit a pixel can edit even one pixel in one Qrcode

Let users know the Qrcode can be successfully scan or not

The takeaway from this project

Thinking flexible but also considering of detail

In this case, I learned how to organize a lot of requirement, restructured and separated, understood the difficulty of skills in development process.
